Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Showrunner. By using the service, you agree to these terms. We try to keep them clear and fair - no surprises.

Using Showrunner

You need an account to use most features. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian agree on your behalf) to create an account.

Your content

You own everything you put into Showrunner - your show details, division names, entries, scores, and any other content you create. We don't claim ownership of your content. We do need a license to host and display it as part of running the service, but that's it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Showrunner for anything illegal or harmful. Don't try to interfere with the service, access other people's accounts, or scrape data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Payments

Payments between competitors and organizers are processed through Stripe. Showrunner facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the agreement between organizer and competitor. Refund policies are set by individual organizers.

Service availability

We work hard to keep Showrunner running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to take the service down for maintenance or updates. We'll try to give advance notice when possible, especially during competition season.

Liability

Showrunner is provided "as is." We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we're not liable for damages resulting from your use of the service. This includes, but isn't limited to, issues with payment processing, scoring, or scheduling.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Showrunner after changes means you accept the updated terms.
