Payments & Fees
How payments work for organizers and competitors.
For organizers
Showrunner uses Stripe to process payments. Before you can open your show for registration, you'll need to connect a Stripe account to your brand.
Connecting Stripe
Go to your brand's settings and set up your payment account. You'll be guided through Stripe's onboarding process to connect or create a Stripe account. Once connected, registration payments for all shows under that brand will be deposited into your Stripe account.
Pricing divisions
Each division has its own price that you set when creating it. Competitors pay the listed price for each division they register for. You can set different prices for different divisions - for example, charging more for Pro divisions than Amateur ones.
Platform fee
Showrunner charges a $1.00 platform fee per entry. This fee is added automatically at checkout and is separate from the division price set by the organizer.
For competitors
When you check out, you'll be taken to a secure Stripe payment page. Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards. Your payment goes directly to the show organizer.
Refunds
Refunds are handled directly by the show organizer. If you need a refund, contact the organizer of the show you registered for. Showrunner does not process refunds on behalf of organizers.
